EventSimpler respects intellectual-property rights and may remove or disable allegedly infringing content and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

Submit a copyright complaint

Email hello@eventsimpler.com with the subject “Copyright Notice.” A complete notice should include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work or other right claimed to be infringed.
  2. Identification and exact URL of the material you want reviewed.
  3. Your name and reliable contact information.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the rightsholder, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rightsholder.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice identifying the removed material and its prior location, explaining your good-faith basis for restoration, and including your name, contact information, consent to the appropriate federal court jurisdiction, acceptance of service from the complainant, and your signature.

Important notice

Submitting false or materially misleading notices can create legal liability. EventSimpler may forward notices and counter-notices to the affected organizer or claimant and may retain them for legal and abuse-prevention purposes.
